The C.I. Pigment Red 176 gives a blue lighter than C.I. pigment red 187 and 208, and a slightly yellowish red color than C.I. pigment red 185. There is excellent migration resistance in soft PVC, light resistance is 6 to 7 grades, heat resistance up to 200 °C, for cable and synthetic leather coloring; Transparent polystyrene coloring is stable at 280 °C; Used for laminated plastic film decorative printing ink, color and light in line with the four-color printing ink standard; In the polyacrylonitrile pulp coloring is 6 to 7 grades; It is also used for the coloring of the original pulp of polypropylene, and the heat resistance is 300 °C/min.

Pigment Red 176 provides a bluish red shade, light fastness is good, and very good migration fastness in plasticized PVC. Mainly use for plastics, spin dyeing, laminated papers and the decorative inks for laminated plastic sheets.

International Equivalents: Aquanyl P Carminr HF3C, Graphtol Red CI-3B1, Permanent Carmine HF3C, PVC Red K123.

Application:

1. For Plastics: PVC, PVC cable insulations and synthetic leather, polyolefins and in polystyrene, polypropylene spin dyeing, especially for coarse textiles, such as carpet fibers, split fibers, filaments, bristles, or tape, but also for finer denier yarns.

2. For Inks:Use for decorative prints for laminated plastic sheets.P.R.176, like P.R.187 and 208, is insoluble in styrene monomer and acetone, exhibits no plate-out onto the plastic sheets, and does not bleed if it is soaked with a melamine resin solution.
