Superiority
Dark red powder. Soluble in water, its aqueous solution is red. Soluble in ethanol, ethylene glycol ether, slightly soluble in acetone. It is blu-violet in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces yellow-brown precipitate after dilution. Reddish yellow in concentrated nitric acid; Reddish brown in dilute sodium hydroxide solution. The color of copper and iron ions is darker when dyeing.
