Permanent Red F4R (C.I. Pigment Red 8) is a brilliant blue red pigment, which belongs to the monoazo color phenol AS pigment. The color is brighter, the coloring power is strong, the sun resistance is better, the saponification resistance is better, and the solvent resistance is weaker. When used for printing ink coloring, it is easy to recrystallize, affecting the color force and transparency, but it is sensitive to the gloss paint and sterilization treatment, and is heat-resistant to 140 °C/3min; It can also be used for fabric printing with low light fastness requirements.

Product Description:

Pigment Red 8 is a red powder. The density is 1.31g/cm2, and the melting point is between 345°C and 355°C. The color is more vivid. Good resistance to acids, but poorer resistance to alkalis. It can be maintained at 150 °C for 20 min, dissolved in concentrated sulfuric acid as yellow light and red, and precipitated with big red after dilution; Dissolved in concentrated nitric acid is blue and red, and does not change color in sodium hydroxide.

Application:
