Product Description:
Silane coupling agent A-172 is A vinyl silane whose molecular structure consists of a vinyl functional group containing an unsaturated double bond structure and three hydrolyzable alkoxy groups, 2-methoxy-ethoxy groups. This dual reactivity allows them to improve the degree of bonding, bonding and compatibility between inorganic materials (glass, metal, fillers) and organic polymers (thermosetting resins, plastics, elastomers) through two-way chemical reactions, thereby improving the mechanical properties of resin-based composites or improving the bonding strength and water resistance of resin coatings. In different applications, they can be used as coupling agents, adhesion promoters, crosslinking agents, surface modifiers of pigment fillers, silicone modified graft copolymers, etc.

Application:

Used as polymer material modifier, EPDM modifier, silane crosslinking cable material crosslinking agent. Used as a glass fiber treatment agent, also used in the manufacture of hydrophobic agents.
