Polyimide with asymmetric isomer 2,3,3 ', 4' -biphenyl tetracarboxylic dianhydride (4, 4'-BPDA) as monomer has higher Tg and lower melt viscosity than polyimide with symmetric structure 3, 3', 4'-BPDA as monomer. The machinability in the material preparation process is significantly improved. Therefore, the use of 3,4 '-BPDA instead of 4,4 '-BPDA matrix resin has received more and more attention.
