Superiority

Blue-green powder. Insoluble in water, acetone, ethanol, and toluene, slightly soluble in chloroform (heat), o-chlorophenol, and pyridine (heat). It turns brown in concentrated sulfuric acid and turns blue after dilution. It appears green-blue in alkaline solution of insurance powder and red-blue in acidic solution. It is used for dyeing cotton, viscose fiber, silk, vinylon and printing cotton cloth, with good level dyeing and affinity. It is also used for dyeing viscose cotton and cotton blended fabrics, and for preparing organic pigments.
