Zeolite is a general term for all kinds of lattice minerals composed of aluminosilicate. It is a huge family, there are 40 natural zeolites found in the world and 150 synthetic ones. The color of zeolite is generally light gray, and sometimes flesh red. It obviously feels lighter than ordinary stone in the hand, because the interior of zeolite is full of tiny holes and channels, which is much more complicated than the honeycomb.
