It can be produced by heating molybdenum trioxide and zinc oxide to 270℃. Zinc molybdate is a new type of antirust material with good coloring power and covering power, which is not only used as primer but also as top coat. It is also used as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant for polymers and as a white pigment for metal rust prevention.
