Product Description: 4-aminobenzoic acid (4-ABA) is involved in the synthesis of folic acid as a bacterial cofactor. It is a general purpose reagent for structural expansion by linear hydrogen bonding involving carboxylic acids and amine functional groups. The 4-ABA monolayer was prepared on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by amino cation radical method. The molecular adduct of 4-ABA was synthesized and characterized by infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.
