It belongs to a new type of disilane, that is, there are two silane structures in the same molecular structure. There are six alkoxy groups on one molecule that can be hydrolyzed, which is twice the number of common silane coupling agents and can symmetrically form with the hydroxyl groups on the surface of inorganic materials

Synthesize a regular and orderly surface structure. Therefore, a higher crosslinking density can be formed on the surface of inorganic materials. Meanwhile, the silanol formed after the hydrolysis of this product is more acidic than that formed by ordinary silane coupling agents. Therefore, it can form a stronger covalent bond with the hydroxyl groups on the surface of metals and inorganic materials, and is less prone to hydrolysis.

Application: 

Crosslinking agents in adhesives and sealants provide moisture curing function and enhance the adhesion to the substrate.
