It is a colorless and transparent liquid with a special smell.

Application: 

It is an important organosilicon monomer. If it can be used as a silane coupling agent, since vinyl silane coupling agents contain double bonds, they can react with organic substances to introduce new functional groups. Different from ordinary silane coupling agents, they are a type of silane product with wide applications and large consumption. It is commonly used for surface treatment of glass fibers, inorganic filler filling of plastics, sealant, adhesive and tackifier, etc. The hydrolysis of methyl vinyl diethoxysilane can also be used for the synthesis of cyclic methyl vinyl siloxane.
