Product Description:
Isobutyltrimethoxysilane, with its small molecular structure, can penetrate the cementing surface and penetrate into the interior of the concrete. It undergoes a chemical reaction with water molecules in the air exposed to acidic or alkaline environments and in the substrate, forming a water-repellent treatment layer, thereby inhibiting water from entering the substrate. It has the properties of water resistance, Cl - resistance, UV resistance and breathability. It can effectively prevent the corrosion, loosening, peeling and mold growth of concrete and internal reinforced structures caused by the erosion of base materials due to water seepage, sunlight, acid rain and seawater, thereby increasing the service life of buildings. The protected substrate has good water repellency and retains its original appearance. Alkaline environments, such as newly poured concrete, can stimulate this reaction and accelerate the formation of the water-repellent layer.
