Fancy Red is a deep red uniform powder, odorless. Soluble in water, soluble in glycerol and propylene glycol, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in oil. A yellowish red solution dissolved in water. Light resistance, heat resistance, alkali resistance and oxidation reduction resistance is poor. The properties are similar to other diazo red pigments. Good tolerance to aqueous solutions containing sulfur dioxide or hydrogen ions (pH≥3). Strong color fastness. Soluble in water, neutral and acidic aqueous solutions are red, alkaline is dark red.
