Product Description:
Dodecyltrimethoxysilane is an organosilicon compound. Appearing as a colorless or slightly yellowish liquid, it has a characteristic odor. The molecule consists of a long dodecyl hydrocarbon chain and three methoxy groups attached to a silicon atom. The methoxy groups are reactive and can hydrolyze in the presence of moisture, enabling the compound to form strong chemical bonds with various substrates. It shows good solubility in organic solvents. This compound is thermally stable to a certain extent, but should be stored under appropriate conditions to prevent degradation.
