Product Description:

2-Amino-5-chlorobenzotrifluoride is an organic compound which is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and dimethylformamide. It is used as a research and laboratory reagent for dye synthesis, purification, and separation, among others.

Application:

1. Mainly used for cotton dyeing and printing, also used for dyeing viscose fiber. It can be coupled with color phenol AS, AS-E to get bright yellowish red color with excellent sunlight fastness. It has strong coupling ability and slow coupling speed. When printing, it is often used with color phenol AS, AS-D as the base for direct printing; or with color phenol AS, AS-D to dye red on cotton, as the ground color for pull-dyeing and printing.
2. It is also an important intermediate for the synthesis of fluorinated herbicides and pharmaceuticals.
