Tridecylfluorooctyl triethoxysilane releases low molecular alcohol after hydrolysis, and the resulting active silyl alcohol can chemically bond with hydroxyl, carboxyl and oxygen-containing groups in many inorganic and organic substrates to form a self-assembled monomolecular fluorosilicon film on the surface of inorganic substances.
