Heavy superphosphate, also known as three phosphate fertilizer, heavy calcium, is a high concentration of water-soluble phosphate fertilizer, the content of effective phosphorus P2O5 is between 36% and 50%, the appearance of light gray particles or powder, the main composition and superphosphate as water-soluble calcium phosphate, does not contain calcium sulfate, containing 4% to 8% of free phosphate, is acidic, powder easy to absorb moisture, easy to caking, It is corrosive, and it is made into pellets in industry to improve physical properties, and it is not easy to absorb moisture and caking after it is made into pellets, which is easy to store and transport.
Heavy superphosphate is obtained by decomposing phosphate rock with phosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid can come from both wet and hot processes. When the impurities such as iron, aluminum, magnesium and manganese contained in phosphate rock and phosphoric acid raw materials are too high, the products will be bonded; The high concentration of iron and aluminum ions in wet process phosphoric acid will reduce the activity of hydrogen ions in phosphoric acid, thus reducing the ability of phosphoric acid to decompose phosphate rock. Therefore, in general, compared with superphosphate, the manufacture of heavy superphosphate requires more phosphate rock.
