The CAS NO. 999-81-5 Plant Growth Regulator Chlormequat Chloride CCC 98% is a white crystal with a fishy smell. It is easily soluble in water and propanol, but insoluble in anhydrous ethanol and benzene. It is stable in neutral or slightly acidic medium and can decompose when heated in alkaline medium. This product is often used as a plant growth regulator. Its main function is to inhibit the elongation of plant cells, but not to inhibit the autolysis, so that plants will not grow too high, but more energy will be put on the growth of stems and leaves. As a result, the output of crops has increased. It can be used for corn, cotton, wheat, rice and other crops.
